Birdrock Ceramics

My passion is making functional handmade ceramics that look gorgeous and can be enjoyed as part of everyday life. Launching my ceramics business in 2021 is a celebrated milestone in my life. I remember first being introduced to clay in secondary school and being excited at the chance to create something special. After studying a Bachelor of Fine Art (Design) at the Elam School of Fine Arts in Auckland New Zealand, I took a roundabout journey to reach my creative career. Sitting at my wheel feels like coming home, and I truly enjoy every moment. Today I work out of my home studio located on the Mornington Peninsula, the traditional lands of the Boon Wurrung / Bunurong people. I draw inspiration from my life, travel, experiences and the abundant beauty I am privileged to experience daily in this part of the world.
